Balance

I made this track a few months ago in Ableton. I took my djembe drum and played it into my directional mic. Recorded sounds like the skin ringing at the top end and the sub bass booming at the low end separately. I used probably about 14-16 different drum “tap” sounds to make these beats. Then I added a few synthesizers to mesh with the beat subtly and then change the feeling of it entirely and then take you to outer space for a little bit before it deconstructs. This was completed in one night.
